Busy, busy, busy!

This year started with lots of fun activities. We had Talk and Dress like a Pirate Day, and visitors on Grandparents' Day. We had our first Innovation Station based it on STEAM. (S-science, T -technology, E- engineering, A- art, M- math). What does engineering look like for 3 and 4 year olds?  Legos and blocks are how we introduce engineering.  The students learned about building structures. Students were given a small toy to build a structure around. Everyone seemed to have lots of fun! 

      We just finished studying All About Me including my body, my family, and my five senses. We played with smelly jars, a freely box, and did a taste test this week. Next week we will start our unit on Community Helpers and Transportation.
